Christmas @yesofficial haul #3 #progrock #prog @grumpyoldrick — ABWH Live with Tony Levin

I have been unwell this week so I have only had time to listen to the first moments of the ABWH Live at the NEC package. However, I have had time to look at the sleeve notes and do a bit of research. There’s also a great review of a Jon and Vangelis album from Mark Anthony K and another ‘list’ from Marc Cadmore.

Why was this recording made?
Why was it not released until 2012?
Who is playing on it?

Listen to the episode and then let me know what you think!

This is described as a compilation – what’s on it?
What was the technology capable of in 1989?
Does this collection stand the test of time or is it simply a museum piece?

Listen to the episode and then let me know what you think!

Does it sound like Yes?
What do Patrick Moraz and Bill Bruford add?
