Theme music
The music I use is the last movement of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This has been used as introduction music at many Yes concerts. My theme music is not take from a live concert – I put it together from the following two creative commons sources:

I think one of the most interesting variations was with the Relayer tour. There was a concert shown on TV circa 1976, which I recorded to cassette. Haven’t listened to it for years, but I remember a very slow Jon Anderson vocal arrangement – essentially solo but with (if I remember correctly) strummed guitar backing – which might also have been Jon. Very effective, and very powerful. I think it segued into Patrick Moraz’s solo.

Russell came first for that reminder. It’s a great version. It’s transposed to a lower key and Chris Squire plays an acoustic Rickenbacker 6 string guitar.
Another interesting aspect of the original studio version seems to be the use of a wah effect with the electric piano sound.

Ah – yes, thanks Russell. I was looking a the comments in a different place. This is indeed a lovely version foreshadows the Yes Acoustic version. I also love Moraz’s solo. As I have said before, I wonder what would have happened if he had stayed!

Yes that sounds right. A great effect – very analogue!
