Theme music
The music I use is the last movement of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This has been used as introduction music at many Yes concerts. My theme music is not take from a live concert – I put it together from the following two creative commons sources:

“Lost Broadcasts” includes this and more footage. Get it if you can. It has all this footage + “Looking Around” and “Survival” with plenty from the same session as No Opportunity Neccesary but with no visual effects but with great close-ups of everyone. Then, comes “Time and a Word” obviously a lip-synched performance. Last comes the second Beat Club session from you DVD but with three takes of All Good People.

Wow I have never seen this DVD around me anyway I have seen the video’s that you have described in your pod cast I can’t remember where or when but I have seen them. One thing about Tony Kaye is that with that wonderful Hammond Organ he also used what is called a Leslie speaker to generate that oh so special sound that was very popular at the time I know my Father had one on his Wurlitzer organ and we loved it in all the shows I had seen Tony Kaye was the only one I ever seen or could remember using one.
I would love to have this DVD I guess I will be hunting around fro it I would like to have to my collection.I as a Yes fan long for the day that they release their catalog of video / concerts on blu-ray I think they deserve it and I think they could improve a lot of the sound issues they had with the early stuff.Okay then sorry I tend to ramble on and on but thanks again Kevin for your time and effort it shows !!!

Fascinating to hear about the Leslie speaker! It always amazed me that the sound they were able to produce from those early instruments was – and still is – so dramatic and elemental.
Blu-ray would be great for everything I’m sure but it would mean more outlay for me as I don’t have a player…yet!
