Theme music

The music I use is the last movement of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This has been used as introduction music at many Yes concerts. My theme music is not take from a live concert – I put it together from the following two creative commons sources: thanvannispen and archive.org

Hello Kevin,
I would just like to say that most of us here in America would listen instead of out burst of garbage however there are some people that think they need to be heard at such venues,,,Annoying ,,
I believe that the entire album such as Fragile should have had the “Solo” items replaced with other tracks that never get played or have not been played in many years…I mean its not like they don’t have a lot to choose from……

Just a quick note I’m surprised that there was no mention of Jon Anderson’s new project and the Kick start campaign which I just feel is a bit strange……
But anyways great show as always
Can’t wait till next week

Cheers

Paul Tomei

Thanks Paul. Yes, I know the majority of fans across the globe including the US would prefer to hear the music rather than their own voices. Sorry to ‘tar you all with the same brush’.

Yes I agree with you that the whole album obsession isn’t the way to go when you have to include such pieces.

Good point about the Anderson/Ponty Kickstarter – I’ll add that this week.

Thanks again!

Hi Kevin! Your comments about the phone recordings not being entirely representative are perfectly understandable. However on the 19th of August you can see a live stream on YAHOO! of the San Jose show which is being profesionally filmed and recorded. Also, there’s a DVD being mixed from the Bristol show by Billy Sherwood.

Wow! That all sounds very exciting. They cancelled a live broadcast last year I seem to remember… Looks like a lot of great video content on its way. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Kevin

Enjoyed the podcast, thanks. ‘We Have Heaven’ live this tour is all Jon Davison’s voice, newly recorded loops etc, no Jon Anderson.

Fragile live really works! I’ve seen the show 3 times, 2 more to come. Hopefully you will get to see it next year.

Regards
Tim

Wow! I stand corrected! Thanks so much for the information. I will issue a full retraction on the next show 😉
