Hello everyone. There will be no new episode of the YMP today for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I’ve been on holiday with the family this week, post Easter, so I haven’t had time to record with Mark. Secondly, I did manage to talk to a true ‘unsung hero’ of Yes music and I want to take the appropriate time to produce something worthy from that conversation for next Friday. He has a lot to share about Tales from Topographic Oceans which is unsurprising as he was at every recording and mixing session in 1973, as well as being involved in the live sound at the Tales Tour.

So I’m sure you will look forward to that episode as much as I am!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yes drummer Alan White.
Alan was a brilliant drummer and a very kind spirited person. One of my favorite memories of Alan is when we had the chance to interview him for the Yes Music Podcast. He was funny and very easy to talk to. This is a great loss, not only to Yes fans but to the music world as well.
Rest in Peace Alan.
