Produced by Jeffrey Crecelius, Wayne Hall, Preston Frazier and Bill Govier
Well, here we are at episode 400 and as a result we are going to break the structure of the episode for one week only because we have 2 major pieces of content for you – an interview with a certain musician you will certainly recognise (OK, it’s our own, Billy Sherwood!) and then our epic 400th episode quiz to win a ridiculous number of Yes and Yes related items.
Listen and let us know what you think!
- Who will win the prizes?
- How did Billy approach his new album?
- Was playing on the Talk tour just like the Royal Affair Tour?

Theme music
The music I use is the last movement of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This has been used as introduction music at many Yes concerts. My theme music is not take from a live concert – I put it together from the following two creative commons sources: thanvannispen and archive.org

Kevin & Mark,
Congratulations on 400 episodes! Fantastic interview with Billy! Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to the podcast. It is greatly appreciated and enjoyed!
Well Done Guys
Keep up the great work!
Here is to the next 400.
Cheers
John Holden
Well done guys on the big one, 400, just imagine what 500 will be like!
Some tricky questions in there, I like the variety.
Good to know also how rare it is to produce such a podcast weekly and for that length of time. There should be no stopping this for some time as Yes rolls on and on.
Keep up the good work chaps.
Dave W
Congrats, lads. Here’s to the next 400 shows-make that 600 for a total of 1000!
Doug
Congratulations to you both on the 400th episode, I can’t believe its been eight years and 400 and Iv’e enjoyed every moment.
Great interview with Mr. Sherwood a true Yes man no doubt
Hope you guys do at least 400 more
Congrats. I only started listening about 150 episodes ago but have had a fair stab at catching up with the older episodes. What a labour of love, expertise and insight! I hope the band know how lucky they are to have people such as you keeping the flame burning,. Bravo.
Two things worth checking out this week –
1) Music industry critic / commentator / curmudgeon, Bob Lefsetz, interviews Phil Carson on his current podcast. The interview is deep and wide ranging but contains some interesting Yes / prog content.
2) Prog is also the subject matter of this week’s Listening Service podcast from BBC Radio 3. Plenty of Yes and Rick.

Both are on iTunes
Sorry I missed the deadline for comments, but congratulations on 400! This is a great community you have built.
Howdy and what a great idea to do trivia questions. Can’t wait for the review of all of them and see how I did.
