Yes Guess Who II – 698

Produced by Joseph Cottrell, Wayne Hall, Ken Fuller and Jeffrey Crecelius

This week, Mark and I had a lovely time trying to outwit each other with another round of the Yes Guess Who game. I simplified the rules, as you’ll hear, and it went rather more smoothly as a result. What fun we had. Do play along yourself and let us know how you did in the comments on this week’s show notes.

  • Who did we choose?
  • Were the questions too easy or too hard?
  • Who won?

My score was 5 right, one bonus year! I liked the questions. No reflection on the quiz as it may give away clues!

Very entertaining game, gentlemen! I think I got half of them right. I have a wishlist topic suggestion for you: how about a curation of YES members’ solo efforts, you know, this album is great (Fish Out of Water/Olias) this one is padded, etc. This would be especially helpful with the immense output of Mr. Rick Wakeman…for those of us who want to get beyond 6 Wives/Journey/King Arthur, but the sheer number of solo releases is overwhelming (& we know that not all records in Rick’s ouerve are winners) as much as I love him..actually the new Melancholia album is quite good…thanks!

Hi Brian,
Thank you very much for your comment and your suggestion.
Well….I would be up for it. I would suggest we go through some of Jon’s and Steve’s stuff first. …Rock has a huge amount of stuff….I have a lot of it…and it is a crazy rabbit hole once you go down it. But I’d be willing to give you my opinion on them…there are a few gems in the collection.

Great Quiz. I was especially entertained by the description of Jon asking to be depicted on top of a mountain deep in thought for the Going For The One cover!! Very amusing.
