Here is a short selection of Yuletide messages and other pieces of audio to finish off 2025.
Many thanks to Michael Handerhan for his review of the (fairly) recent Yes show he attended and to Stephen Lambe for his audio feedback on last week’s quiz.
Thank you to everyone who has listened and/or been in touch in any way this year including all patrons for their support and producers. We are very much looking forward to 2026 and the fifteenth anniversary of the YMP. Whatever you celebrate at this time of year, I hope you have a great time. Here are Michael, Stephen and, finally, Mark to finish off the year.

It’s not a merry Christmas until this song makes an appearance (or several appearances)…
Best wishes to the YMP family!
Of course! It’s a great cover version. Nowadays I would say it’s AI but it’s too old, obviously. Thanks for the message. Have a great Christmas, with or without a new pair of socks.
It is actually Chris Squire singing this version, from an appearance on Rick Wakeman’s radio show years ago. I think it was Rick who wrote the new lyrics, but I can’t say that with certainty.
Lol. Thanks for posting “A New Pair of Socks”. I have not heard it in years.
It is one of the Yes canon songs that are off the wall, satirical, nostalgic, or even comical in nature.
I wonder if there are enough of these types of songs in the Yes canon that would qualify as a collection?
“Money” from Tormato Expanded qualifies. Would “Leave It” work? That is a fun tune. “Mystery Tour” from The Quest is very nostalgic. “Arriving UFO”? And so on …
Mmm. This could be an interesting topic for the Yes Music Podcast.
