Theme music

The music I use is the last movement of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This has been used as introduction music at many Yes concerts. My theme music is not take from a live concert – I put it together from the following two creative commons sources: thanvannispen and archive.org

…Alan and his trusty vibraphone, again – this time fully damped. In that rather good compilation concert video of the Going For The One tour that showed up on Facebook last week, Alan had that with him, along with a tympani set (I knew I remembered that correctly, from 1977!). He used it A LOT on Turn Of The Century – way more evident than the studio version. Unfortunately, the video was so bad that he was completely in the dark for most of the song.

The two videos from Time And A Word were quite good, I thought.

I’ve never seen the full-length video of Owner before – that was quite weird. And they weren’t urinals, Mark – just hand washing sinks. ‘Basins’ I believe Kevin would say.

As for Leave It and Love Will Find A Way. . . OMG the eighties hair! And shoulder pads!

Onward. . . (please)
