Courtesy of Paul Caruana!

In a week of amazing contrasts, I return to continue my look at the Total Rock Review DVD and Mark revistis the ABWH album as well as bringing us his two pence on the future of progressive rock. I also have my say on the current ARW ticket pricing issues.

  • What more is there to learn about the early days of the band fromt he DVD?
  • Who will carry the prog torch?
  • Will Yes fans be priced out of seeing ARW?

Listen to the episode then let me know what you think!

The one that got away – 230

Part of the 2015 Christmas haul!
Part of the 2015 Christmas haul!

It’s been one of those weeks again where my day job has prevented me from looking further at the DVD I began last week. However, I’ve found a couple of clips from the archives I hope you will enjoy and Mark starts looking at Progeny along with his two pence.

  • What is Progeny actually like?
  • What clips do I come up with?
  • What is Mark’s two pence this week?

Looking forward to seeing this early Xmas present courtesy of Paul Caruana! Thank you! @yesofficial #prog #progrock
A gift fromPaul Caruana!

This week Mark looks at Union(!) and his two pence is about the vinyl resurgence. I have a think about some demo tracks I have encountered this week and also I start to look at my present from Paul Caruana, a DVD review of the opening chapter of Yes’ history.

  • Who created what track?
  • Was Drama a Downes and Horn double act with Yes as back-up?
  • Is the DVD any good?

Looking forward to the 5th Anniversary of the YMP – 228

cropped-12063068_1065326200174650_1758245473_n.jpgIt’s half term holiday in my part of the UK this week so I don’t have time to record very much. However, I do manage to look forward to the 5th anniversary of the YMP and Mark reviews a Trevor Rabin album as well as giving us his thoughts on streaming music services and leaking music to YouTube.

  • What was Trevor Rabin’s first album like?
  • Should we use streaming music services?
  • What’s in store for the 5th Anniversary of the YMP?
